Full programmable plug-in replacement for the Delphi controller as used on 2001 to present Twin Cam models. This robust alpha-N (Throttle position and RPM based) fuel control eliminates problems with long duration/high overlap camshafts. The TwinTec TCFI kit includes a wide-band exhaust gas oxygen (WEGO) sensor interface that allows auto-tuning during actual on-road riding condition. The user simply programs a table with the desired air/fuel ratio's, and the system than does the rest. The TCFI has the same ignition control as TwinTec's TC88 ignition control module, providing fully programmable advance curves. Idle air control including idle RPM and cold start characteristics are also fully programmable. This facilitates the use of throttle bodies modified for higher airflow. These Generation IV controllers give full support for the J1850 data bus or CAN bus (used for communications with the turn signal/security module and instrument cluster as used on 2004 and later models). TwinTec recommends this controller for 95CI (1550cc) and larger engines that are expected to produce over 100HP. Black anodized aluminum housing. Features powerful Windows software for custom programming and data analysis, data logging and diagnostics. Supports all sensors including theft/security module. All outputs are protected against short circuits. The complete kit includes WEGO IIID Dual Channel Wide-Band Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Interface, two Bosch LSU4.2 5-wire wideband oxygen sensors, two 18x1.5mm weld nuts for mounting sensor on exhaust pipe, and software on CD-ROM. This provides versatile tuning aid, displaying Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR). Logs over 2 hours data including AFR, engine RPM, and features a spare 0-5V analog input for sensors such as throttle position or manifold pressure. Can be used for on-road or dyno test ing. Highly accurate with less than 0.15AFR error over 10.3-19.5AFR range. The red LCD display with backlight provides clear readability in all conditions ranging from bright sunlight to total darkness.
