The 41mm front forks have been used in many models from 1949 through 2017 and are also referred to as Wide Glide forks. Parts for the early, original Hydra Gide forks and the later Showa forks are not interchangeable. Showa forks are used in FL Big Twin late 1977-1984, FXWG 1980-1986, FXDWG 1993-2005 and Softail 1984-2017.
