Dynatek has a long experience in building electronic ignition systems. Back in the mid seventies, when everybody was still thinking points and condensers, they were building reliable electronic ignition systems for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Years ago they started to develop a self contained racing ignition system to fill the needs of the professional Drag-Racers. They have re-developed this racing ignition over and over again until they came up with the Dyna 4000 Superpro. The Dyna 4000 Superpro is a High-Energy Ignition that is designed to meet the demands of the professional Drag-Racer. It has the advantage of the long spark duration of the Inductive ignition system as well as the higher rev capabilities of the capacitive systems. Special trigger plates that work with dual or single systems are available. The Dyna 4000 has lots more features for gas burning Drag-Race Harley's as well as for Nitro Burning Top Fuel Harley's.

For the gas burning Drag-Race machines there is another important feature of the Dynatek 4000 Superpro. It allows the use of the handlebar mounted Dyna Digital Remote display. This is a handlebar mounted digital display that enables the racer to change the launch rev limiter on the line, real time rev display that allows testing of all RPM based accessories and has a clutch switch indicator.
