Morad, one of Europe's largest and most prestige rim manufactures, have recently acquired the complete Akront rim factory. After a series of improvements they have now re-started the production of these high-quality aluminum rims. They have improved the quality wherever possible and expanded the range of available sizes. These "Light-Weight" rims are made out of 6051-T6 aluminum, have a high-gloss polished finish and are factory inspected for trueness and roundness. Spoke holes are drilled in a pattern to lace these rims to OEM or aftermarket hubs. Light-weight aluminum rims reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass for smoother rides, improved handling and quicker acceleration. Akront rims are available in a variety of widths and diameters, making them the ultimate choice for the Custom Bike Builder. These very competitively priced rims are DOT approved and drilled and dimpled for the classic 1940 thru 2004 Harley 40-spoke pattern.
