Inner primary, 1971-1984 FX & FXE, V-Twin Mfg. (OEM 60441-82A)
This polished inner primary cover has the hole for the mid shift control lever as OEM. It features a 9-hole pattern for the outer cover to bolt to. If your outer cover only has 8 holes the 9th simply isn't used. The casted-in reinforced webbing makes this inner primary very strong. Note that the polishing is not up to the Zodiac standards and it is therefore recommended to have the cover painted or powdercoated.
